The issue
On certain vehicles, interference between the lower ball joint rubber boot and the steering knuckle could result in cutting the boot. If the lower ball joint boot were cut, contamination from the road could enter the ball socket area of the ball joint. Contamination could cause the ball joint to wear out faster than one that remained sealed. Correction: The dealer will modify the spindle for clearance.

Sur certains véhicules, une interférence entre la gaine caoutchoutée du joint à rotule inférieur et la fusée de direction pourrait couper la gaine. Si la gaine du joint à rotule inférieur était coupée, des saletés pourraient entrer dans la zone de la rotule sphérique du joint à rotule et causer une usure prématurée du joint à rotule. Correction : Le concessionaire va modifié la fusée.
