The issue
THE SPRAGUE WIPER ASSEMBLY PIVOT CAN SEIZE DUE TO GALVANIC CORROSION BETWEEN THE ZINC-PLATED STEEL SHAFT AND THE BRONZE BUSHING CAUSING THE WIPER ARM/BLADE ASSEMBLY TO STOP WIPING THE WINDSHIELD. THIS COULD CAUSE REDUCED DRIVER VISIBILITY DURING INCLEMENT WEATHER AND RESULT IN A VEHICLE CRASH. CORRECTION: SPRAGUE WIPER ASSEMBLY PIVOT WILL BE REPLACED WITH AN ASSEMBLY NOT SUSCEPTIBLE TO GALVANIC CORROSION.

Il se peut qu'à cause de la corrosion galvanique entre l'arbre d'acier galvanisé et la bague de bronze, le pivot des essuie-glaces Sprague grippe et les balais cessent de fonctionner. Cela peut réduire la visiblité du conducteur par mauvais temps et causer un accident.
