The issue

On certain Accord Wagons, an idadequately attached washer may have fallen inside the cargo area light during vehicle assembly. If this condition exists, and the light's three-position switch is in the middle position with the tailgate open, the washer could cause a short circuit within the light resulting in overheating and a possible fire. Correction: Dealers will remove the washers installed behind the cargo area light and inspect and replace any damaged light assemblies.

Une rondelle mal fixée peut être tombée à l'intérieur de la lampe du compartiment de charge lors de l'assemblage du véhicule. Si cela s'est produit et que l'interrupteur à trois directions de la lampe est à la position centrale lorsque le hayon est ouvert, la rondelle peut causer une court-circuit à l'intérieur de la lampe. Une surchauffe ou même un incendie peut s'ensuivre.
