The issue

On certain vehicles, the power seat or recliner wiring harness may become pinched or chafed causing possible short circuits. These short circuits may then cause the circuit breaker to weld closed and the unprotected short circuit could overheat and possibly ignite the seat cushion materials. Correction: Wiring harness will be inspected and harness rerouted using a wiring harness clip.

Sur certains véhicules, le faisceau de câbles du siège ou du dossier à réglage électrique peut être coincé ou usé par frottement et causer des courts-circuits. Ces courts-circuits peuvent amener le disjoncteur à se souder en position fermée et le circuit non protégé peut surchauffer et mettre feu au coussin du siège.
