The issue

DEFECT: THE HYDRAULIC LIFT CYLINDERS ON THESE VEHICLES ARE ATTACHED TO BRACKETS THAT ARE WELDED TO THE LIFTGATE. UNDER CERTAIN CONDITIONS, THE BRACKET WELDS MAY FRACTURE DUE TO THE BRACKETS BEING INADVERTENTLY MISLOCATED RELATIVE TO THE LIFTGATE. THERE MAY BE A POTENTIAL FOR THE LIFTGATE BRACKET TO GRADUALLY BEND INWARD WHICH MIGHT ALLOW THE LIFT CYLINDER BALL STUD TO DISENGAGE. CORRECTION: REINFORCEMENT BRACKETS WILL BE INSTALLED.

DÉFAUT: Les vérins hydrauliques installés sur ces véhicules sont fixés à des supports qui sont soudés au hayon. Dans certaines circonstances, les soudures de supports peuvent se briser parce que ces derniers ont été, par inadvertance, mal alignés par rapport au hayon. Les supports du hayon peuvent donc se déformer vers l'intérieur et permettre au pivot sphérique du vérin de se détacher. Correction: Des supports plus solides devront être installés.
