The issue
A WIRE INSIDE THE ELECTRIC MOTOR DRIVEN GEARBOX ACTUATOR MAY COME INTO CONTACT WITH THE INNER FACE OF THE ASSEMBLY CASE, CAUSING FRETTING OF THE WIRE AND ALSO CAUSING THE FUSE PROTECTING THE CIRCUIT TO BLOW IF THIS OCCURS IT WOULD NOT BE POSSIBLE TO ENGAGE THE DESIRED GEAR RANGE AND MAY NOT BE POSSIBLE TO RESTART THE VEHICLE AFTER THE ENGINE HAS BEEN SWITCHED OFF. IF "PARK" IS NOT ENGAGED AND THE DRIVER DOES NOT APPLY THE PARKING BRAKE, A ROLL AWAY COULD OCCUR. CORRECTION: AFFECTED WIRE WILL BE REPOSITIONED.

DÉFAUT: Un câble du moteur électrique qui entraîne l'actionneur de la transmission peut entrer en contact avec la surface intérieure du boîtier de la transmission, s'user et faire sauter le fusible du circuit électrique de la transmission. Si cela se produit, il ne sera plus possible d'engager la vitesse désirée et il se peut même que l'on soit dans l'impossibilité de faire redémarrer le moteur une fois celui-ci éteint. Si le conducteur n'a pas engagé la position de stationnement (PARK) et n'a pas serré le frein de stationnement, il se peut que la voiture se déplace d'elle-même. CORRECTION: Le câble en question devra être installé ailleurs.
