The issue

On certain vehicles, some of the welds between the roof and roof internal reinforcement panels may not meet specifications. In a crash there is a possibility of a partial separation of the roof panel flange sides, exposing an occupant to an increased risk of injury. Correction: Structural fasteners will be installed along the vehicle roof flange, on both sides of the vehicle.

Sur certains véhicules, certaines soudures entre le toit et les panneaux de renfort du pavillon intérieur ne respectent pas les spécifications. En cas d’accident, il se peut que les rebords des panneaux de pavillon se détachent partiellement de l’habitacle, exposant les occupants à de plus grands risques de blessure. Correction : Des agrafes devront être installées le long du rebord des panneaux de pavillon, des deux côtés du véhicule.
