The issue

On certain vehicles, the brake booster check valve were assembled into the brake booster vacuum hose using a soapy lubricant. This soapy lubricant may eventually cause the check valve to stick which could result in loss of the brake's power assist. Correction: The master power check valve hose will be cleaned by washing the hose with hot water.

On s’est servi d’un lubrifiant savonneux lors du montage du clapet de retenue sur la canalisation à dépression de la pompe de servofrein de ces véhicules. Ce lubrifiant peut éventuellement faire coller le clapet de retenue, ce qui pourrait entraîner une panne du servofrein. Correction: La canalisation du clapet de retenue principal du servofrein devra être nettoyée à l’eau chaude.
