The issue

THIS VEHICLE MAY HAVE UNDERSIZED WELDS ON THE BRACKET THAT ATTACHES THE LIFTGATE ASSIST GAS CYLINDER TO THE RIGHT HAND BODYSIDE OUTER PANEL. THIS COULD RESULT IN BRACKET SEPARATION WHICH COULD PREVENT THE GAS CYLINDER FROM PROPERLY SUPPORTING THE LIFTGATE. CORRECTION: BRACKET ATTACHMENT WILL BE REINFORCED WITH TWO POP RIVETS.

Nota : NIV - 1FMCU24X8TUD61067. Il se peut que les soudures qui retiennent le support du vérin à gaz du hayon relevable au panneau extérieur droit de la carrosserie soient sousdimensionnées. Il se peut donc que le support se détache et que le hayon ne soit plus supporté par le vérin à gaz. Correction : Le montage du support devra être renforcé par deux rivets de sûreté.
