The issue

Certain vehicles do not comply with CMVSS 205 - Glazing materials. The windshields on these vehicles were produced without the "ASI" mark as required by American Standards Institute (ANSI) Z26.1. These windshields fully meet all of the requirements of standard 205. Correction: Since the absence of the "ASI" mark is highly unlikely to produce any risk of injury, no corrective action will be taken.

Certains véhicules ne satisfont pas aux exigences de la NSVAC 205 - Vitrage. Les pare-brise de ces véhicules ne portent pas la marque « ASI » comme l’exige la norme Z26.1 de l’American Standards Institute (ANSI). Autrement, ils satisfont pleinement aux exigences de la norme 205. Correction : Puisque l’absence de la marque « ASI » ne risque pas d’entraîner des blessures, aucune mesure de correction n’est requise.
