The issue
On certain motorcycles, the engine cam sprocket bolt on could lose its clamp load and/or break. This condition could cause the engine to quit running without prior warning. Under certain conditions loss of engine power could result in diminished vehicle control and a possible crash. Correction: The cam sprocket bolt and flat washer as well as the crank sprocket bolt and flat washer will be replaced on affected vehicles.

Sur certaines motocyclettes, il se peut que le boulon du pignon de came du moteur perde son couple de serrage et se brise. Le moteur pourrait alors s’arrêter subitement. Dans certains cas, une panne de moteur peut entraver la conduite de la moto et provoquer un accident. Correction : Le boulon du pignon de came et la rondelle plate devront être remplacés sur les véhicules visés.
