The issue
On certain CLK cabriolet vehicles, the weld nut at the top of the "B-pillar" which is used to secure the front seat belt shoulder anchor bolt may have an inadequate weld. In the event of a collision, the weld may not maintain design integrity and may fail. Correction: Front seat belt shoulder anchor bolts will be replaced with a reinforced version.

Sur certains CLK cabriolet, l’écrou à souder de la partie supérieure du montant central qui sert à arrimer le boulon d’ancrage de la ceinture thoracique du siège avant aurait été mal soudé. En cas de collision, il se peut que la soudure ne conserve pas l’intégrité prévue et se brise. Correction : Les boulons d’ancrage des ceintures thoraciques avant devront être remplacés par des pièces renforcées.
