The issue
On certain vehicles, the thermostat regulating the temperature of the heated seats has been incorrectly positioned during assembly. The incorrect positioning creates the potential, when the seat heating element is activated, that the surface of the seat reaches an unacceptably high temperature. In extreme cases, this could cause damage to any object in contact with the seat cushion. Correction: An additional control unit will be fitted to each heated seat.

Sur certains véhicules, le thermostat qui règle la température des sièges chauffants n’a pas été installé au bon endroit lors du montage et il se peut que la surface des sièges atteigne des températures très élevées quand on allume l’élément chauffant. Dans les cas extrêmes, il se peut même que des objets laissés sur un siège soient endommagés. Correction : Une unité de commande additionnelle devra être posée sur les sièges chauffants.
