The issue

Certain trailers, when operated under severe conditions, experience excessive flexing and'/or twisting of the chassis structure that supports and secures the center axle hangers. This condition will cause abnormal tire wear and tearing of the of the chassis main rails which in turn can lead to a loss of vehicle control and a possible crash. Correction: Trailers will be equipped with a main rail gusset and a cross chassis stiffener will be installed.

Dans des conditions de conduite extrême, la partie du châssis où sont installés les supports de l'essieu central a tendance à fléchir ou à se tordre de manière excessive, ce qui peut entraîner l'usure anormale des pneus et faire déchirer les longerons principaux. Il se peut alors que le conducteur perde la maîtrise du véhicule et soit victime d'un accident. Correction : On devra poser des goussets sur les longerons principaux et des raidisseurs transversaux sur le châssis de ces remorques.
