The issue

On certain 325I, 330I, 525I and 530I vehicles during the strut mount manufacturing process, the thrust bearing was not properly positioned and secured. If the suspension is fully unloaded, the front strut could separate from the upper mount. This could affect vehicle handling and control, increasing the risk of a crash. Correction: Dealers will replace both front spring strut upper mounts.

Sur certaines BMW 325I, 330I, 525I et 530I, durant la fabrication du support de la jambe de force, le palier de butée a été incorrectement positionné et fixé. Quand la suspension est à son débattement maximal, la jambe de force avant peut se désolidariser du support supérieur, ce qui peut avoir une incidence sur le comportement routier et la maîtrise du véhicule et causer un accident. Correction : Les concessionnaires devront remplacer les deux supports supérieurs des jambes de force avant.
