The issue

On certain vehicles, the gap between the brake line and the cardan joint of the steering shaft is too small. The brake line may come into contact with the joint and eventually suffer damage and corrosion. Ultimately, a loss of brake fluid accompanied by a reduction in front brake performance may occur. Correction: Dealer will evaluate the distance between the brake line and the cardan joint of the steering shaft. If this distance is not sufficient, it will be increased.

Sur certains véhicules, le dégagement entre la conduite de frein et le joint de cardan de l'arbre de direction est trop faible. Il se peut que la conduite entre en contact avec le joint et, éventuellement, soit endommagée ou se corrode. À la limite, une perte de liquide de frein et une réduction de la puissance de freinage à l'avant pourraient s'ensuivre. Correction : Les concessionnaires devront mesurer la distance entre la conduite de frein et le joint de cardan de l'arbre de direction. Si le dégagement n'est pas suffisant, ils devront faire les modifications nécessaires.
