The issue

On certain walk-in delivery vans built on Ford chassis, an improperly sized fuse was installed. The fuse is not compatible with the wire gauge installed by Utilimaster. Should a failure occur in a vehicle component such as a fan, heated mirror and/or other ignition-hot option, the insulation around the wiring to the fan could melt. Correction: Owners will be provided with a replacement fuse.

Sur certains camions de livraison Aeromaster à pavillon surélevé construits sur un châssis de Ford, on aurait posé un fusible de la mauvaise valeur. Le fusible n'est pas compatible avec le calibre du câblage posé par Utilimaster. Si l'un des accessoires du véhicule (ventilateur, miroir chauffant ou autre dispositif d'allumage ou appareil de chauffage) venait à tomber en panne, la gaine isolante de son câble pourrait fondre, ce qui représente un risque de court-circuit. Correction : Les concessionnaires devront fournir aux propriétaires un fusible de rechange.
