The issue
On certain motorcycles, the second/third pinion gear inside the transmission may be incorrectly machined, which could cause abnormal wear that eventually results in a broken retaining circlip. If the circlip breaks, the transmission could lock up, which would also cause the rear wheels to lock up. Correction: Dealer will replace the transmission gears and shafts.

Sur certaines motocyclettes, le deuxième et troisième engrenage à pignons se trouvant à l'intérieur de la transmission peut avoir été mal usiné, ce qui pourrait causer une usure anormale et briser le circlip circulaire de retenue. Si le circlip se brisait, la transmission pourrait se gripper; entraînant le blocage de la roue arrière. Correction : Le concessionnaire devra remplacer les engrenage et les arbres de transmission.
