The issue

On certain vehicles, the thickness of the instrument panel pad at the tear lines is 0.74mm, which is thicker than the specified 0.4 =/- 0.05mm. The thicker material at the tear line inhibits the ability of the instrument panel surface to fold upward if the passenger airbag deploys. This may adversely affect the deployment of the passenger airbag. Correction: Dealer will replace the instrument panel.

Sur certains véhicules, l'épaisseur du rembourrage du tableau de bord au niveau des arêtes est de 0,74 mm, ce qui est plus épais que la valeur spécifiée (0,4 +/- 0,05 mm). Le matériel plus épais situé au niveau des arêtes empêche la surface du tableau de bord de se plier vers le haut en cas de déploiement du coussin gonflable du passager. Cela pourrait nuire au déploiement du coussin gonflable du passager. Correction : Le concessionnaire devra remplacer le tableau de bord.
