The issue

On certain motorcycles, the idle control cable can become dislodged from the fuel injection system cable guide due to improper adjustment of the throttle control system. Should this occur, the throttle may not return to the idle position when the operator's hand is removed from the twist grip, increasing the risk of loss of control of the vehicle, which could result in a crash. Correction: Dealer will install a throttle cable clamp, which serves to ensure retention of the throttle control cables in the cable guide.

Sur certaines motocyclettes, le câble de commande du ralenti peut se déloger de son guide à cause d'un mauvais réglage du système de commande des gaz. Si cela se produit, la commande des gaz ne pourrait pas retourner à sa position de départ même si le conducteur lâche la poignée des gaz, ce qui pourrait faire augmenter le risque de pertes de contrôle et causer un accident. Correction : Le concessionnaire devra installer un étrier sur le câble d'accélérateur pour qu'il reste bien fixé dans son guide.
