The issue

On certain vehicles, the pinch bolt that attaches the drag link to the pitman arm may not have been tightened to the required torque value. This condition could allow the pinch bolt to loosen and allow the drag link and pitman arm to separate resulting in uncontrollable steering and potential for a vehicle crash. Correction: Dealer will install a new pinch bolt and tighten to the required torque.

Sur certains véhicules, le boulon de serrage qui fixe la barre de direction au levier de commande pourrait ne pas avoir été assez serré. Cela pourrait permettre au boulon de se desserrer et permettre à la barre de direction et au levier de commande de se détacher. En conséquence, le conducteur pourrait perdre le contrôle du véhicule et avoir un accident. Correction : Le concessionnaire devra installer un nouveau boulon de serrage et le serrer au couple recommandé.
