The issue
Certain vehicles equipped with a solar panel for use on Polar Mach & Polar Cub "solar ready" air conditioners and heat pumps. During installation, the rubber well nuts may not have engaged the hole adequately to prevent them from being pulled out of the plastic shroud during normal use. Should the panel detach while the vehicle is in motion, it could strike another vehicle or a pedestrian, possibly resulting in personal injuries. Correction: Dealer will reinforce the solar panel with metal mounting brackets.

Le rappel vise certains véhicules équipés d'un panneau solaire pouvant servir à l'alimentation électrique des thermopompes et des climatiseurs Polar Mach et Polar Cub. Les écrous de montage en caoutchouc pourraient ne pas avoir été insérés dans le trou de façon à les empêcher de sortir du protecteur de plastique. Si le panneau se détachait pendant que le véhicule est en mouvement, il pourrait frapper un autre véhicule ou un piéton et causer des blessures. Correction : Le concessionnaire devra renforcer le panneau solaire avec des supports de montage métalliques.
