The issue
On certain Audi S6, A6 and A6 Allroad Quattro, contact between the left driver's side crash element and the headlight switch wiring harness could eventually result in an electrical short. Even though such an electrical short is not very likely, it could result, in a worst-case scenario, in a fire originating in the left dashboard area. Correction: Dealer will install a protective covering on the crash element and inspect the wiring harness for damage.

Sur certaines Audi S6, A6 et A6 Allroad Quattro, un contact entre le dispositif de protection en cas d'accident situé à gauche du conducteur et le faisceau de câbles de l'interrupteur des phares pourrait causer un court circuit. Même s'il n'est pas très probable qu'un court circuit se produise, il pourrait causer, dans un cas extrême, un incendie dans la partie gauche du tableau de bord. Correction : Le concessionnaire devra installer un recouvrement protecteur sur le dispositif de protection en cas d'accident et inspecter le faisceau de câbles pour s'assurer qu'il n'est pas endommagé.
