The issue

On certain vehicles equipped with an 8-cylinder engine, the circular retention clip at the quick-release coupling along the fuel supply line was inadvertently omitted. As a result, it is possible that in a severe frontal crash, the quick-release coupling could separate. If this happens, a small amount of fuel could leak and potentially ignite. Correction: Dealers will install a circular retention clip.

Sur certains véhicules équipés d'un moteur à 8 cylindres, l'attache circulaire du raccord rapide devant se trouver le long du tuyau d'alimentation en carburant n'a pas été installée. En conséquence, il se pourrait que le raccord rapide se détache lors d'une violente collision frontale. Si cela se produisait, une petite quantité de carburant pourrait fuir et s'enflammer. Correction : Les concessionnaires devront installer une attache circulaire.
