The issue

On certain vehicles, the fuel pump impeller may be deformed by alcohol included in fuel, causing the impeller to contact the fuel pump body. This condition could increase the rotation resistance of the impeller and, in the worst case, the fuel pump may lock, which may result in the engine stalling. Correction: Dealers will replace the fuel pump.

Sur certains véhicules, le rotor de la pompe à essence pourrait être déformé par de l'alcool se trouvant dans l'essence; si c'est le cas, le rotor toucherait au corps de la pompe à essence. Cela pourrait augmenter la résistance de rotation du rotor et, dans le pire des cas, la pompe à essence pourrait se bloquer et faire caler le moteur. Correction : Les concessionnaires devront remplacer la pompe à essence.
