The issue

On certain vehicles, the bolts that retain the universal joint to the yoke at the transmission may not be tightened to the engineering specifications. This can result in the drive shaft coming loose from the transmission. Correction: Dealers will install new bolts at the transmission and, torque to specs the bolts at the interaxle and intermediate drive shaft connections.

Sur certains véhicules, les boulons qui tiennent le joint universel et la fourche ensemble au niveau de la boîte de vitesses pourraient ne pas être serrés conformément aux exigences de conception. À cause de cela, l'arbre de transmission pourrait se détacher de la boîte de vitesses. Correction : Les concessionnaires devront installer de nouveaux boulons et serrer au couple recommandé les boulons qui sont situés au niveau des raccords de l'arbre de transmission interponts et de l'arbre de transmission intermédiaire.
