The issue
On certain motorcycles, the side stand may not retract if contact is made with the ground when the vehicle is in motion. This could disrupt the stability of the motorcycle leading to a crash, causing injury or death. Correction: Dealers will replace the side stand pivot bolt with a similar bolt that is .100 inch longer.

Sur certaines motocyclettes, la béquille pourrait ne pas se replier si elle touchait au sol pendant que le véhicule est en mouvement. Cela pourrait déséquilibrer la motocyclette, provoquer un accident et engendrer des blessures et même la mort. Correction : Les concessionnaires devront remplacer le boulon du pivot de la béquille par un boulon semblable, mais 0,100 po plus long.
