The issue
On certain DaimlerChrysler SLF (super low floor) transit buses, the inductor insulation of the Sure-Power series 1 battery equalizer may degrade over time, creating a short. The shorted inductor may cause the battery equalizer to smoke or burn, and possibly result in a fire. Correction: Sure Power will notify owners and, if required, replace the battery equalizer.

Sur certains autocars DaimlerChrysler à plancher très bas, l'isolant d'inducteur de l'égaliseur de batterie Sure-Power de série 1 pourrait se dégrader à la longue, ce qui engendrerait un court circuit. L'inducteur court circuité pourrait brûler ou faire fumer l'égaliseur de batterie et possiblement causer un incendie. Correction : Sure Power devra avertir les propriétaires et, s'il y a lieu, remplacer l'égaliseur de batterie.
