The issue
On certain motorhomes, the seat belt assemblies fail to meet the strength requirements of CMVSS 209. In the event of a crash, the buckle could release leaving the seat occupant un-restrained, possibly resulting in serious injury or death. Correction: AM-Safe Commercial Products will replace the seat belt buckles.

Sur certaines autocaravanes, les ceintures de sécurité ne satisfont pas aux exigences de solidité de la NSVAC 209. En cas d'accident, la boucle pourrait se défaire, ce qui détacherait la personne assise à cette place et pourrait la blesser gravement ou lui faire perdre la vie en cas d'accident. Correction : AM-Safe Commercial Products devra remplacer les boucles de ceinture de sécurité.
