The issue

On certain trucks, the hood safety cables, installed during vehicle assembly, are too long. If the hood begins to fall, the longer cable will cause the hood to fall too far, potentially injuring someone working in the engine compartment. Correction: Dealers will inspect and replace any cables that are too long.

Sur certains camions, les câbles de sécurité du capot, posés pendant le montage du véhicule, sont trop longs. Si le capot commençait à se refermer, le câble long ferait en sorte que le capot pourrait blesser quelqu'un en train de travailler dans le compartiment du moteur. Correction : Les concessionnaires devront inspecter et remplacer tout câble trop long.
