The issue

On certain vehicles, the Bowden cable, which connects the door handle to the door latch, may have been incorrectly adjusted during vehicle assembly. This adjustment may increase the possibility of the driver door becoming unlatched in the event of a side impact collision, which could cause an unbelted driver to be ejected, increasing the risk of injuries or death. Correction: Dealers will adjust the left door Bowden cable.

Sur certains véhicules, le dispositif de fixation de câble Bowden de la poignée de la portière gauche a été mal posé pendant le montage du véhicule. En conséquence, la portière gauche pourrait ne pas respecter les exigences lors de certains accidents, ce qui pourrait blesser davantage les occupants ou causer des pertes de vie. Correction : Les concessionnaires devront régler le câble Bowden de la portière gauche.
