The issue

On certain motorcycles, the fuel pump wiring harness may not have been manufactured according to specification. As a result, the contact in the plug for the fuel pump can break, causing the pump to fail. Should this happen, fuel delivery to the engine would cease and stalling would occur. Engine stalling would result in lost propulsion which, in conjunction with traffic and road conditions, and the rider's reactions, could increase the risk of a crash. Correction: Dealers will replace the wiring harness.

Sur certaines motocyclettes, le faisceau de câbles de la pompe à carburant pourrait ne pas avoir été fabriqué conformément aux spécifications. En conséquence, le contact dans la prise de la pompe à carburant pourrait se briser, ce qui ferait en sorte que la pompe ferait défaut. Dans un tel cas, le carburant cesserait de se rendre jusqu'au moteur et celui ci calerait. Le manque de force motrice combiné, la motocyclette cesserait d'avancer, ce qui, ajouté aux conditions de circulation, aux conditions routières et à la réaction du motocycliste, pourrait augmenter les risques d'accident. Correction : Les concessionnaires devront remplacer le faisceau de câbles.
