The issue

On certain motorcycles, insufficient tightening torque may have been applied to the muffler mounting bolts during vehicle assembly. Should the bolts loosen, the muffler could separate from the motorcycle and impact nearby persons or objects resulting in personal injury and/or vehicle and property damage. Correction: Dealers will tighten muffler mounting bolts to the proper torque.

Sur certaines motocyclettes, un couple de serrage insuffisant pourrait avoir été appliqué sur les boulons de fixation du silencieux pendant le montage du véhicule. Si les boulons se desserraient, le silencieux pourrait se détacher de la motocyclette et percuter des personnes ou des objets situés à proximité, ce qui blesserait quelqu'un ou endommagerait des biens matériels. Correction : Les concessionnaires devront serrer les boulons de fixation du silencieux au couple de serrage approprié.
