The issue

On certain motorcycles, the rear drive sprocket can fail while the vehicle is underway. This could allow the chain to become entangled in the rear wheel, possibly causing a loss of vehicle control and a crash with personal injury or death. Correction: Dealers will replace the rear drive sprocket with an updated version.

Sur certaines motocyclettes, le pignon d'entraînement de chaîne arrière pourrait faire défaut pendant que le véhicule roule. Cela pourrait permettre à la chaîne de s'emmêler dans la roue arrière, ce qui pourrait causer une perte de contrôle du véhicule et un accident avec blessés ou pertes de vie. Correction : Les concessionnaires devront remplacer le pignon d'entraînement de chaîne arrière par un pignon à jour.
