The issue

On certain vehicles, the rear safety belt D-ring assemblies may not rotate freely around the safety belt anchorage mounting bolt. In the event of a medium to high vehicle impact , the inability of D-ring to rotate may limit the performance of the rear safety belt system, causing personal injury or death. Correction: Dealers will inspect the rear safety belt system and repair accordingly.

Sur certains véhicules, les anneaux en D de ceinture de sécurité arrière pourraient ne pas pivoter librement autour du boulon de fixation d'ancrage de ceinture de sécurité. En cas d'impact de force moyenne à élevée, l'incapacité d'un anneau en D à pivoter pourrait limiter le rendement du système de ceinture de sécurité arrière. Correction : Les concessionnaires devront inspecter le système de ceinture de sécurité arrière et le réparer en conséquence.
