The issue

Certain vehicles fail to comply with CMVSS 108 - Lighting System and Retroreflective Devices. The Daytime Running Lamps (DRL) are combined with the turn signal lamps in a way that, when the turn signal is switched ON, both DRL lamps are extinguished. This manner of operation is contrary to the requirements of the Standard. Correction: Dealers will install updated software.

Certains véhicules ne satisfont pas aux exigences de la NSVAC 108 - Système d'éclairage et dispositifs rétroréfléchissants. Les feux de jour sont combinés aux clignotants de façon à ce que, lorsque les clignotants sont actionnés, les deux feux de jour sont éteints. Cette façon de fonctionner est contraire aux exigences de la norme. Correction : Les concessionnaires devront charger un logiciel à jour.
