Recall 2013324

The issue

On certain vehicles, the stop lamp switch may fail and cause intermittent operation of the brake lights. Failure of the brake lights to illuminate when the brake pedal is depressed could result in a crash causing property damage and/or personal injury. Correction: Dealers will replace the switch. Note: This is an expansion of recall 2013-098.

Sur certains véhicules, l'interrupteur de feux de freinage pourrait tomber en panne et causer le fonctionnement intermittent des feux de freinage. Si les feux ne freinage ne s'allument pas lorsque la pédale de frein est enfoncée cela pourrait causer un accident, endommager des biens matériels ou blesser quelqu'un. Correction : Les concessionnaires devront remplacer l'interrupteur. Remarque : Le présent rappel s'ajoute au rappel 2013-098.
