The issue

On certain vehicles equipped with a manual transmission, the park brake lever clutch drum may distort and reduce the effectiveness of the park brake system. This could allow the vehicle to move inadvertently and cause a crash without any warning. Correction: Dealers will replace the park brake lever assembly.

Sur certains véhicules munis d'une boîte de vitesses manuelle, le tambour d'embrayage du levier du frein de stationnement pourrait se tordre et diminuer l'efficacité du frein de stationnement. Cela pourrait permettre au véhicule de se mettre en mouvement et de provoquer un accident. Correction : Les concessionnaires devront remplacer le levier du frein de stationnement des véhicules visés.
