The issue

On certain trucks, the Diesel Particulate Filter (DPF) chassis attachment bracket may fail, allowing the DPF assembly to separate from the vehicle. Should this occur, the DPF could become a road hazard, posing a risk to motorists and bystanders. Correction: Dealers will replace the DPF chassis attachment bracket and straps.

Sur certains camions, le support de fixation sur châssis du filtre à particules diesel pourrait faire défaut, ce qui permettrait au filtre de se détacher du véhicule. Si cela se produisait, le filtre pourrait devenir un danger pour les autres véhicules et les personnes se trouvant à proximité. Correction : Les concessionnaires devront remplacer les courroies et le support de fixation sur châssis du filtre à particules diesel.
