The issue
On certain school buses, the bolts that mount the steering gear to the frame may not have been properly torqued during vehicle assembly. Improperly torqued bolts may cause the steering gear to separate from the chassis, which could result in a vehicle crash causing property damage, personal injury or death. Correction: Dealers will torque the steering gear mounting bolts to specs.

Sur certains autobus scolaires, les boulons qui fixent le boîtier de direction sur le châssis pourraient ne pas avoir été serrés adéquatement pendant le montage du véhicule. Des boulons mal serrés pourraient causer le détachement du boîtier de direction du châssis, ce qui pourrait causer un accident, endommager des biens matériels, blesser quelqu'un ou entraîner des pertes de vies. Correction : Les concessionnaires devront serrer les boulons de fixation du boîtier de direction conformément aux spécifications.
