The issue

On certain motorcycle, the rear suspension drag link assembly may fail, allowing the rear suspension to disconnect from the swing arm. Should this occur, the motorcycle will drop down causing contact between the rear tire and the underside of the rear mudguard. This could cause a loss of vehicle control and a crash causing property damage, personal injury or death. Correction: Dealers will replace the drag link with an updated version.

Sur certaines motocyclettes, la barre d'accouplement de la suspension arrière pourrait faire défaut, ce qui permettrait à la suspension arrière de se détacher du bras oscillant. Si cela se produisait, la motocyclette s'affaisserait, ce qui ferait en sorte que le pneu arrière et le garde-boue arrière entrent en contact l'un avec l'autre. Cela pourrait faire perdre le contrôle du véhicule et causer un accident qui endommagerait des biens matériels, blesserait quelqu'un ou entraînerait des pertes de vies. Correction : Les concessionnaires devront remplacer la barre d'accouplement par une barre d'accouplement à jour.
