The issue

On certain vehicles equipped with a Carrier Corporation roof-mounted air conditioning unit, the condenser assembly may have inadequate electrical current protection. One or more of the fans may fail causing overheating of the fan's wires. Overheating of the condenser unit could result in a fire causing property damage, personal injury or death. Correction: Dealers will install a 15amp inline fuse in each of the three fan's circuits.

Sur certains véhicules munis d'un climatiseur de toit de marque Carrier, le condensateur pourrait avoir une protection inadéquate contre le courant électrique. Au moins un des ventilateurs pourrait faire défaut, ce qui en ferait surchauffer les fils. Une surchauffe du condensateur pourrait provoquer un incendie, endommager des biens matériels, blesser quelqu'un ou entraîner des pertes de vies. Correction : Les concessionnaires devront poser un fusible de 15 A monté en série dans chacun des trois circuits du ventilateur.
