The issue

On certain motorhomes, the fabric used for the dinette cushions and window valances was not treated with flame retardant, and does not meet the requirements of the Canada Motor Vehicle Safety Standards (CMVSS) 302 - Flammability of Interior Materials. As a result, the fabric could burn faster than allowable by the Standard. Correction: Dealers will inspect and, if necessary, replace the cushions and window valances with a treated flame retardant fabric.

Sur certaines autocaravanes, le tissu utilisé pour les coussins du coin-repas et les valences à rideaux n'a pas été traité à l'aide d'un ignifugeant et ne respecte pas les exigences des Normes de Sécurité des Véhicules Automobiles du Canada (NSVAC) 302 - Inflammabilité des matériaux intérieurs. En conséquence, le tissu pourrait brûler plus rapidement que permis par le standard. Correction : Les concessionnaires devront inspecter et remplacer au besoin le tissu des coussins et les valences à rideaux visés par un tissu traité à l'aide d'un ignifugeant.
