The issue
On certain motorcycles, the center stand pivot screw may come loose during normal operation. If the screw backs out, the center stand may detach, presenting a ground clearance hazard, or coming into contact with the rear wheel and final drive assemblies. This could cause property damage and/or personal injury. Correction: Dealers will apply thread locking coumpound to the center stand pivot screw.

Sur certaines motocyclettes, les vis de pivotement de la béquille centrale pourraient se desserrer en fonctionnement normal. Si les vis sortaient, la béquille centrale pourrait se détacher (ce qui diminuerait la garde au sol) ou entrer en contact avec la roue arrière et la transmission secondaire de la motocyclette pendant qu'elle roule. Cela pourrait endommager la motocyclette ou présenter un risque pour le pilote. Correction : Les concessionnaires devront appliquer de l’adhésif frein filet sur la vis de pivot de béquille centrale.
