The issue

Certain Golf and Golf wagon were built with a Daytime Running Light (DRL) system that can be deactivated, which is not in compliance with Canada Motor Vehicle Safety Standard 108 - Lighting System and Retroreflective devices. Correction: Dealers will install an updated software version.

Certaines Golf et Golf familiale comportent un allumage facultatif des phares, ce qui n’est pas conforme à la Norme de Sécurité des Véhicules Automobiles du Canada numéro 108 sur l’éclairage et les réflecteurs. Mesure corrective : Les concessionnaires devront mettre à jour le système d’allumage afin qu’il soit automatique et conforme.
