The issue

On certain motorhomes equipped with a Caterpillar C7 diesel engine, the number 5 and 6 fuel lines may crack at the fastening point to the common fuel rail, causing a high pressure fuel leak. Fuel leakage, in the presence of an ignition source, could result in a fire causing property damage and/or personal injury. Correction: Dealers will replace the affected fuel lines.

Sur certaines autocaravanes équipés d'un moteur Caterpillar diesel C7, les canalisations de carburant numéros 5 et 6 peuvent se fissurer au point de fixation avec la rampe d'alimentation commune, résultant en une fuite de carburant sous haute pression. La fuite de carburant en présence d'une source d'inflammation pourrait provoquer un incendie, ce qui pourrait endommager des biens matériels ou blesser quelqu'un. Correction: Les concessionnaires devront remplacer les canalisations de carburant affectées.
