The issue

On certain motorhomes, the 110V AC electrical wiring for the microwave may not have been secured adequately within the refrigerator cabinet during vehicle assembly. As a result, the wiring could chafe against the back of the refrigerator which, over time, could cause abrasion damage to the cable insulation, possibly resulting in an electrical short circuit. An electrical short could result in a vehicle fire causing property damage and/or personal injury. Correction: Dealers will secure and, if needed, repair the electrical wiring. Refrigerator coolant tubes will also be inspect and repaired as required.

Sur certaines autocaravanes, les fils électriques de 110 V c.a. pour le four micro-ondes pourraient ne pas avoir été fixés adéquatement dans l'armoire du réfrigérateur pendant le montage du véhicule. En conséquence, ils pourraient s'user par frottement contre l'arrière du réfrigérateur, ce qui, à la longue, pourrait causer des dommages par abrasion à l'isolant du câble, et pourrait causer un court-circuit et un incendie, endommager des biens matériels ou blesser quelqu'un. Correction : Les concessionnaires devront fixer et, si nécessaire, réparer les fils électriques. Les tubes de frigorigène du réfrigérateur devront aussi être inspectés et réparés au besoin.
