The issue

On certain vehicles equipped with a V8 engine, a power steering line may develop a leak at the connection to the steering gear valve housing. Loss of power steering fluid could cause a loss of steering power assist, which may result in a crash causing property damage and/or personal injury. Correction: Dealers will replace the power steering gear housing oil lines.

Sur certains véhicules à moteur V8, une canalisation de la direction assistée pourrait se mettre à fuir au niveau du branchement de la crémaillère. Une perte de liquide de la direction assistée pourrait provoquer une perte de l'assistance de la direction, ce qui pourrait causer un accident, endommager des biens matériels ou blesser quelqu'un. Correction : Les concessionnaires devront remplacer les canalisations d'huile.
