The issue

On certain vehicles, the fuel filler neck may not have been welded correctly to the fuel tank during the manufacturing process. As a result, the weld may not provide the expected strength and, in the event of a crash, could result in a fuel leak. Fuel leakage, in the presence of an ignition source, could result in a fire causing property damage and/or personal injury. Correction: Dealers will replace the fuel tank.

Sur certains véhicules, le col de remplissage du réservoir à carburant pourrait ne pas voir été soudé correctement au réservoir à carburant pendant le processus de fabrication. En conséquence, la soudure pourrait ne pas fournir la résistance prévue et, en cas d'accident, pourrait causer une fuite de carburant. Une fuite de carburant, en présence d'une source d'allumage, pourrait causer un incendie, endommager des biens matériels ou blesser quelqu'un. Correction : Les concessionnaires devront remplacer le réservoir à carburant.
