The issue

On certain motorhomes, the engine exhaust pipe is located too close to a storage compartment, allowing heat from the exhaust pipe to melt/damage the cargo storage box and nearby components. This could result in a vehicle fire causing property damage and/or personal injury. Correction: Dealers will install an exhaust heat shield.

Sur certaines autocaravanes, le tuyau d'échappement du moteur se trouve trop près d'un compartiment d'entreposage, et la chaleur qui s'en dégage peut faire fondre/endommager la boîte d'entreposage de la marchandise et les pièces à proximité. Cela pourrait provoquer un incendie, endommager des biens matériels ou blesser quelqu'un. Correction : Les concessionnaires devront poser un bouclier thermique.
